The Safety Platform for Emergency vACCines (SPEAC) Project has launched the new project website. SPEAC provides vaccine safety tools, resources, and expertise across the vaccine development process to enhance safety and build vaccine confidence. Through the newly launched website, all the resources created by the project and additional information about its scope are now easily accessible.
Following a collaboration spanning back to 2019, involving Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), Brighton Collaboration and The Task Force for Global Health since 2019, back in November 2022, the three organizations signed the extension of SPEAC until the end of 2026.
WeDo renewed its role in this new stage and continues to lead the Project Management work package in close collaboration with the Task Force for Global Health. WeDo’s role encompasses the overall progress tracking and monitoring, as well as consortium management, assistance to stakeholder engagement, and support to the external project communication.
For the creation of the SPEAC project website, we have led a collaborative effort with all project members to ensure a user-friendly platform to inform stakeholders about the project mission and contribute to the available resources.
