The SeeRRI Consortium is a balanced, complementary and transdisciplinary team formed by 12 organisations from three European Member States (Austria, Spain and Italy) and two Associated Countries (Norway and Israel), interacting with an extensive network of Stakeholders from 3 selected territories that will provide relevant feedback at several stages of the project. The partners come from all quadruple-helix actors, government (regional authorities), business (economic cluster and SMEs), academic (research institutes and universities), and civil societal organisation (confederation of enterprises).

Support to Project Management, including contractual, administrative and financial aspects.
Project aim: To facilitate the optimal use of GAIA maternal and neonatal outcome definitions to assure the standardization of the evaluation of the safety of vaccines used for maternal immunization and comparability of studies from different populations.
About: the project aims at further developing a therapeutic strategy against HIV.
WeDo: members of the Project Management office, assisting the consortium in the strategic front, as well as in the administrative and financial follow-up, the reporting, and the project communication.
About: the project aims at providing standards and tools to establish a globally shared understanding of outcomes and approaches to monitoring vaccine safety with a specific focus on LMIC needs and requirements.
WeDo: assist the project leadership in all management related areas.
It’s been only a year, but what a year! A year that seems like a lifetime. So many things have changed in our lives, Ángel’s and mine.
We have been through a lot, each one of us and together. Very intense life-changing things: parenting, divorce, losses and wins… And then on top we added our entrepreneurial partnership, as if all the rest was not enough. Struggles and fears, stress, mistakes and learnings, endless brainstormings, naive plannings, exciting ideas and big fails, thrills and hesitations. But the most recurrent words that come to mind when we look back are gratitude, happiness and fulfilment.
WeDo partners with Brighton Collaboration and the Task Force for Global Health for the management of the CEPI-funded “SPEAC” Project.
WeDo is glad to open a new international collaboration in the vaccine development field, becoming a strategic partner in the Task Force for Global Health/Brighton Collaboration SPEAC project (Safety Platform for Emergency vACcines), funded by CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations*).
This week the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) has released the final list of awardees of the public tender “Consulting and training services in the field of the preparation of proposals for research projects”. WeDo has been awarded in all the lots of the bidding to which responded (five out of six) for proposal development training and assistance, alongside other 4 companies of reference in the field.
WeDo has signed a strategic alliance with the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) for developing and implementing an innovative capacity building programme, adapted to the University real needs and oriented to specific measurable goals.
After a while searching for research funds, one may struggle to identify new calls of interests aside from the usual suspects (national calls, or very well-known calls in the field) or to consistently broaden the own research portfolio in order to respond to new calls. Here some ideas
WeDo will be at the 10th H2020 Conference to be held next 20th November in Toledo.
The meeting will serve to analyse Spain’s participation in the current H2020 programme and boost Spanish entities’ participation in the upcoming calls, as well as to present the next research and innovation framework programme (Horizon Europe).
On the 18th September it was published the final resolution to grant the 2017 Retos Colaboración projects funded by the Ministry of Economy and Business in Spain. The NUVATERA project for the development of a new therapeutic vaccine against HIV, led by AELIX Therapeutics SL, was one of the top funded projects and one of the best ranked. WeDo is happy to have contributed to getting the funds and also to be part of the Project Management office of the project.
WeDo is, since this September, installed at the Utopicus Plaza Catalunya coworking building at the heart of Barcelona.
